It’s that time again, my February Kinder Beauty Box has arrived and I am super excited by the products in this month’s box! You can read last month’s post here where I talk all about what Kinder Beauty is and how to get a subscription.
As I mentioned in my January post, each month I want to post about what came in the box for the month and potentially do a separate post containing mini reviews. I’m still not 100% decided on how to do this because I feel with skincare products, you need more than two or three weeks to fully review them and see how well the product works for you. Anyway, I’ll stop rambling now and get on to the good bit…
What’s in the Box?
Each month Kinder announces which products are going to be in the box but I do try and avoid this because I love the element of surprise when it arrives. Safe to say, this month I was not disappointed and just three days after getting the box have tried almost everything and have been raving about them to my friends and family.
Delia Organics Skin Detox Rehab Mask with French Pink Clay & Papaya Extract ($22)
This is a powder that you need to mix with water to create a ‘paste’. The details on the container are not great so I had to go for a google to find out how to properly use it. It seems a little messy and unnecessarily ‘faffy’. However, that said my skin felt beautifully smooth from first use.
Ambreesh Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick ($28)
This product might just be revolutionary in my life. I received the shade #ComeGetMe which is a bold nude and I love it! I put it on at 7am before driving to placement; then at 1030pm after a full day of school, eating and drinking, and going for a walk with a friend in the evening, I had to scrub the lipstick to come off. It didn’t transfer at all, felt really nice and light on the lips and lasted more than 15 hours! I can definitely see myself investing in a few more shades.
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner ($20)
Aaaah the beautiful eyeliner. I have wanted this for a while but for some reason, never made the purchase and now, I don’t have to. This glides on sooo easily and lasts all day without fading or smudging. It’s made my morning routine so much easier and I can already tell this will be my new HG eyeliner.
Eldora H171 False Eyelashes ($9)
These are stunning. They look really natural and I can’t wait to try them for the first time to see how they look on the eye and how well they last.
DERMA E Nourishing Rose Cleaning Oil (Deluxe Size)
Soooo, this product smells incredible. BUT, I have combination-oily skin so I’m not a huge fan of using oil based products. Luckily for my friend, she is getting to invest in this because it’s supposed to be great for her skin type. Hopefully she’ll report back so for anyone interested I’ll know if the product is worth it or not.
I was super psyched when I received this box. Although this is only the second Kinder Beauty Box, they are absolutely smashing it with their product choices and quality of presentation and service. It’s the fastest US shipping I have ever experienced. I was a tad worried that everyone in America would receive their box weeks before it made its way overseas but I’m so happy that’s not the case.
I’m very excited to continue using January, and now February’s fantastic products!
