Following on from yesterday’s post, I’ve put together a mixed-budget gift guide for that special lady in your life. Be it, mum; girlfriend; sister; grandma… I guarantee something on this gift guide will be a great gift for them!
Kindle Paperwhite E-reader, £109.99
I got a Kindle for Christmas 2015 and I’ve barely put it down since. An e-reader is such a great gift if that special lady is an avid reader, they’re just so handy. I know there’s a huge physical book Vs e-reader debate and some people will never convert but they’re just so good. As long as you have your Kindle, you never have to worry about not having something to read once you’ve finished your current book. They’re space-savers and lighter than taking several books away for the weekend. I’ve recommended the Paperwhite because it has a backlight so you can read in the dark unlike some other models and it really does ‘read like paper’, so there’s no annoying screen glare either. Amazon claim that Kindle batteries will last up to six weeks, but this is based on only half an hour reading per day. I do way more than this so my battery never lasts six weeks but I don’t have to charge it weekly even so.
Viktor & Rolf BonBon eau de parfum, £52-£99
Perfume is a great gift for anyone. If there’s a perfume you know your lucky lady loves, go with that but I love this perfume and recommend it to everyone. My friend and I discovered BonBon on holiday in June 2016, I didn’t own this until June 2017… I kept going back to it, smelling it and spraying it anytime I was in a perfume shop or department store and eventually told my parents it was what I wanted for my birthday. Yes, it is on the pricey side but it’s so worth it. It’s a strong fragrance without being overpowering so you don’t need much to smell great all day.
Afternoon Tea Voucher
If you’re on my blog for longer than 30 seconds, it’s obvious that I am a huge lover of Afternoon Tea. It’s lovely to sit back and relax for a couple of hours, soak up the atmosphere of wherever you are and overindulge in some fab treats and unlimited tea or coffee. If you’re looking for some recommendations of where to go, check out my posts about Afternoon Tea here.
Pandora Moments Silver Bracelet with Heart Clasp, £55 and Charm, from £10
Pandora bracelets are so popular these days and I can see why. Every Pandora bracelet is different and personal to the wearer. Everyone that owns a Pandora bracelet can probably tell you a story about each charm they have. It’s lovely to add a charm at special milestones or anniversaries and there is so much variety that everyone can find charms they love.
To be honest, this could have been a whole gift guide in itself. I seriously struggled to pick just a couple of things to come under this heading, but I did it. There are so many incredible cosmetics out there and so many brands are killin’ it with holiday collections so my choices are in no way the only two on the market.
Tarte Cosmetics Tartelette Toasted Palette, £41
This is the newest Tartelette that Tarte Cosmetics has dropped and it is gorgeous. Tarte are calling this ‘a party-in-a-palette’ and I agree. Twelve brand new, warm shades in a variety of finishes. Tarte eyeshadows are always super blendable and this palette has got a lot of attention since it’s launch. I think this will be great year-round but definitely one to reach for to create those warm NYE eye looks everyone loves.
BECCA Apres Ski Glow Collection Face Palette, £45
This has me shook. BECCA always pull it out the bag with their incredible collections and this is no different. Everything down to the packaging is gorgeous. This is the palette I didn’t know I needed, but I do. A range of highlight, blush and bronzer makes this the perfect palette for those winter getaways and I guarantee this will be a sell-out.
Cath Kidston x Disney Mug, from £10
Everyone loves a new mug. These new ones from the Cath Kidston x Disney collection are super cute. As above, I could have dedicated a whole gift guide to cute mugs but narrowed my choices down and chose these.
Gift guides are so fun to put together, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this and I’ve helped you pick a gift for your lucky lady!
