In my opinion, and judging by a lot of tweets I’ve read recently a lot of people agree, boys are the hardest people to buy presents for! I don’t what it is but I always struggle to buy something for Ian or any of my male relatives. I wanted to put together a gift guide to help you buy that special man in your life something great for Christmas.
Christmas is a pricey time of year so I’ve compiled a list of mixed price points so there’s something for everyone, ‘main’ presents and stocking fillers!
Fossil Hybrid Smartwatch, £179
These are on the pricey side but hear me out. They appear to be a normal watch but have so many functions of a smartwatch. Fitness tracking, notifications, controlling music, the list goes on. I think these are the perfect gift for Christmas. I’m not a huge lover of smartwatches because I think a lot of them look really bulky so I love these because they do have that normal, sophisticated watch appearance!
App Enabled Star Wars Droid, £1499.99-£179.99
These are available from a few different sellers but I’m using The Disney Store’s link for them. You can purchase BB-8, BB-9E and R2-D2. You can control these through your smart phone and I think they’re so cool. I’m not a huge Star Wars fan myself but seeing these characters come to life, does have an appeal.
Paco Rabanne 1 Million eau de toilette, from £47
Aftershave in general is a great gift, I don’t think you can ever go wrong. If that special man in your life has a favourite, obviously I’d recommend that. I asked a few different guys to recommend a good aftershave and the majority recommended 1 Million which is why I’ve chosen to put it in the gift guide. I won’t embarrass myself by trying to describe a smell but this is a super popular fragrance.
Personalised Wash Bag, £28
Notonthehighstreet is a great place for gifts and I love this personalised men’s wash bag. Available in two colours, this vintage style wash bag also contains a face cloth and mini toiletries. Pop in the initials you want when placing your order and it does become that bit more meaningful.
M&S Paddington Bear Cufflinks, £25
I love cufflinks, there are so many cute and quirky ones out there these days and I think it’s the perfect way to show some personality when you’re forced to be in a boring suit for work or other events. M&S have done amazing things this year with their Paddington collaboration and I think these bear cufflinks are adorable!
Eden Mill Beer Gift Pack, £10
This gift pack comes with 3x Eden Mill craft beers and a voucher for two people to enjoy the Eden Mill brewery tour. The voucher alone is worth £15 so this gift is definitely great value for money! Side note: Eden Mill have amazing gins and cocktails too, their website is worth a look even if the guy you’re buying for isn’t into beer.
Hopefully this post has given you some inspiration and made it easier to shop for that awkward man in your life!
