Blogmas 2017

I came across these ideas last year on Pinterest (obviously!), excitedly bought everything I needed to create these cute Christmas cards and then ran out of time and motivation to actually put them together

I love handmade things, they’re so personal and to me, they mean so much more than a pack of shop bought cards. I know everyone leads busy lives, especially in the run up to Christmas so I am grateful for any card I receive, I’m not judging anyone for shop bought cards, I just like the sentiment that accompanies handmade.

My inner-child came out when I saw these on Pinterest and started recreating them. Is there anything more fun than finger paint? I am in awe of these cute designs and as long as you have a little bit of time on your hands, these are so simple to put together!

I did contemplate doing a step-by-step tutorial but then realised, both designs are pretty self-explanatory and I didn’t need a tutorial so I won’t insult anyone’s intelligence!

Everything I bought for these cards was from Hobbycraft last year. I haven’t been in this year but I imagine their Christmas craft section is pretty similar every year.

I’m super happy with how these turned out but if I was to do them again, I’d put a button on each reindeer’s nose because I think they look better than the glitter on the middle one!

I hope you like these DIY Christmas card designs, are you making your own cards this year? Let me know in the comments!
