Going on holiday is the perfect excuse, like we need one, to stock up on cosmetics and try out new ones and that is exactly what I did before jetting off to Ibiza. Out of pure luck, the majority of products I took on holiday, I fell in love with. Some I had never even heard of before buying, I was just enticed in the store. Not all of the products featured are new ones but I wanted to do a post and share my favourite products from my Summer holiday.

The Body Shop – Rainforest Shine Shampoo & Conditioner, £5 each

These were something I came across by accident. I was looking for bottles that weren’t too bulky for packing and spotted these in store. We all know The Body Shop is all about those natural, good-for-you ingredients so I thought, why not? These were fantastic on holiday. My hair looked great, really shiny (even if I do say so myself), it felt super soft and the products smelled amazing. At £5 per bottle, I don’t think the price tag is too bad for the quality of the product although I do wish you could buy bottles bigger than 250ml.

Imperial Leather – Foamy Banana Shower Cream, £1

Imperial Leather’s new range of sweetie shower creams have been everywhere lately so, I jumped on the band wagon. At £1, you really cannot complain about the price tag. This shower cream was a-maz-ing for holiday. It’s so creamy and soothing, perfect for any bits of sunburn, it really helped cool redness and prep my skin for after sun and more sun exposure.

Estee Lauder – The Smoother Universal Perfecting Primer, £25

I bought this back in March and haven’t used another primer since. I love it. My skin is oily/combination and this primer works a treat. I’m always left with really soft skin and an even texture. It was great even in a hot country and definitely helped my make-up stay put.

The Body Shop – All-in-One BB Cream, £12

This was another unintended purchase. I was in The Body Shop stocking up on their faaaaab tea tree range and there was a 3 for 2 offer on. I decided to just pick a product on a whim because I was technically getting it for free anyway. I was colour matched in store and I’m shade 02 for medium skin tones. The great thing about this product is that it comes out white and adapts to your skin tone. This meant as I got more tanned on holiday, I could still use it. I’m not usually a BB cream fan and tend to prefer fuller coverage foundations but when your skin is looking cracking because of a sun tan, this is great. I’ll definitely use this over Summer and it’s such a good price!

MAC – Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle, £24.50

My bestie introduced me to this over a year ago and it is my number-one-go-to-holy-grail highlight when I’m tanned. It gives the most stunning Summer glow ever.

What are you go-to holiday products?
