So, as you all know… Lent = no buying make up for me. But I can browse, right? There’s so many amazing products that I need in my life right now and I want to share them with all of you. I’m a bit of an organised neat-freak and have documents saved on my laptop containing skin care and cosmetics wish lists which are then updated if I purchase a product… I’m a saddo, I know. This post won’t contain everything on my wish list (we’d be here all week!) but the products I really want to buy imminently (although, being a poor student with rubbish budgeting skills, I probably won’t).
One product I am currently obsessed with is Smashbox Cover Shot Eye Palettes. There are seven palettes and they are all incredible. Each palette contains 8 shadows, two of which are double-size. I was shopping at the end of February and came across these. The only thing that stopped me buying was not being able to choose just one… The only palette I’m not too keen on is the Bold one. I know some people can pull these colours of but green and blue eyelids are not for me. The other six are: Ablaze; Golden Hour; Matte; Metallic; Smoky; and Softlight. I want all six. When I do come to purchase one I have no idea how I’ll choose. The palettes are quite compact which I think would be great for travelling and at only £24 each they’re even more enticing. When I was shopping, I did a few swatches and they seem to be super pigmented and the texture was lovely. Another selling point? Shay Mitchell is the face of these palettes and worked with Smashbox to create each of them. A-mazing (excuse the Pretty Little Liars pun…)
.A relatively new product has made its way on to my list. The Benefit Cheek Parade Blusher and Bronzer Palette. Have you seen this? It’s dreamy. This palette retails for £49.50 but you’re getting five full-size Benefit exclusive bronzers & blushes, and a mini powder brush. If you were to buy each product separately it would set you back around £122 so you’re making a huge saving! This palette has a mirror in the lid… always a bonus. Unfortunately, this is limited edition and apparently exclusive to House of Fraser. The shades are sure to be amazing for over Summer whether you’re going abroad or having a staycation!
There are so many products I need from Tarte Cosmetics right now. I own two of their eyeshadow palettes, their shape tape concealer and a few lip paints… All of which are great! The quality of Tarte Cosmetics is second-to-none. I do hate that you have to pay taxes on top of your order but at least it’s free international shipping if your order is over £41 which mine almost always is. Anyway… Ever since it came out I have wanted the Tarteist PRO Amazonian Clay Palette so badly. It’s absolutely out-of-this-world GORGEOUS. You get 20 shadows all for £41 and from experience, Tarte shadows are so pigmented. The packaging is so pretty and sleek and hosts a huge mirror inside. I am so excited by this palette, I’ve made so many hints to my boyfriend that I’m hoping I’ll get this for my birthday if not before…
Are any of these products on your current wish list?
